General update

Jenny wrote: Today Kim has been editing the footage we have already, and has also had to re-record some of the audio as when she first recorded it, she did so inside and it did not have the outside ambiance that needed, to create the correct voice over.

Jenny wrote: Today Kim and I recorded a voice for going over the clip where Lizzy is reading a letter. Also we have got the music for our footage it is Beethoven's Moon Light Sanatra. We have decided to get some more shots to add in to the film as it is just a bit under the time, for this shot we have got Lizzy with a new actor, Simon who is going to be acting Micheal.

Music

Jenny wrote: Today I have been searching for music on downloading sites such as Sound Cloud and Musopen, which let you get free legal downloads. We have decided to use two pieces of music, the reason is to change the feeling in the film. we are going to used happy music in the beginning and then edit in mellow or Dramatic music at a certain point. to add to the atmosphere and climax of our film.

Another Update

Kim wrote: Today I continued editing our footage in photoshop. I have been experimenting using lots of different effects in premiere elements as well as photoshop trying to find something that looks effective and professional at the same time.

Feedback from Classmates

Kim wrote: Today we had to watch each others coursework and give constructive criticism about how it can be improved. We were told;
  • We need to find music
  • We need a full screen when LIzzie is in the corner screen
  • We need to change the name of our coursework as its not very effective - a subsiquent suggestion is 'Unfaithful'
  • We need to edit our 'Dead Dogs' title to make it look more proffesional
  • There is a white bit during the 'Twenthy Century Fox' and we have to edit that out
  • We also need to take out the 'and' in the shot of '...and Alex MacPhail'

We are going to take all of this onboard and will continue to work on our footage to make it better than it already is.
